TRAINING TIPS FOR COACHES & TRAINERS
Minimize

EXPLOSIVE POWER

Using a Strength Bag, and holding it by the two lifting handles, throw the bag into the air from a crouching position. When throwing the bag into the air, jump off the ground.

Be careful to use a very light weight to begin with, eg. 5 kg's and as the althlete becomes stronger, increase the weight, to within their means.  DO NOT COMMENCE WITH A HEAVY WEIGHT.

The above drill is only one of 300 different Functional Strength drills that may be done with this piece of training equipment from XLR8.
